effectively using technology in the classroom, I was also able to collected a number of valuable tools for enriching and assisting student learning and become far more comfortable using technology both in my daily life and teaching. I also became connected with other educators with whom I could share valuable resources and information, and witnessed first hand the power of social media for productivity.

Although I may have missed some pro’s and con’s on both sides (which I welcome anyone who reads this to share), my personal preference is Google Apps. I prefer Google because of the many useful applications for education, and because it is well known and overall easy to learn and use. Another benefit of Google is that the company is full of forward thinkers, always working to develop new applications and tools to make our everyday tasks easier; making them a great role model for students and teachers alike!
